![]() Ive decided to the Dr Phil show while I was in LA. At times we thought we were on Jerry Springer. The subjects of the two tapings were pathetic. We scheduled a tour of the Paramount studios(don't waste your time on this) after the Dr Phil show and had no time to eat. It would have been nice if Michael Stern, the audience supervisor I was in contact with, would have warned us of the extremely cold rooms!! Thank goodness they gave us crackers and juice in between tapings. They keep it 50 degrees in there and we were not prepared for that. I wish I had read some of the reviews about the temperature of the studio. ![]() The tickets are free to the public, by the way. Come on guys, we flew all the way from Dallas to attend the show!! We did get a box of self-help books and a coffee mug, which I quickly submitted to a garage sale. We thought we'd at least get a pic with Phil or be invited backstage or even a "hello" to fellow Texans would have been nice, but nothing. My friend won tickets at an auction and asked me to go! We got VIP tickets, which didn't get us anything special. Phil but I don't feel the same as I did before I went to the show. We were there from 7am until 2:15pm and I wish just once he could have said "We are glad you are here, thanks for coming". Phil acknowledge that there was an audience in front of him. Robyn is brought out amid applause and sits in an end seat with someone next to her so she doesn't have to be too near anyone in the audience. Then some guy throws balls into the audience and if you are willing to come up on the stage and make a fool out of yourself dancing you can get a mug. ![]() People wearing blue jeans were taken up to the top seats and put in the middle of a row where they couldn't be seen. At that point we were lined up and taken into the studio where they seat you according to how you look and what you are wearing. Then we sat in a room until 9:15 guarded by Paramount interns who don't work for the show to make sure we didn't go anywhere. We arrived at 7am and stood outside on the street until 8:30. First, people are encouraged to come early to assure that you get in. Overall, I really enjoyed going to the show, there were just a few things I found lacking.

The show is a runaway hit for Bravo last season it was the No. (The car she and her mother and stepfather were riding in was rear-ended and fell down an embankment.) An operation left a crosshatched scar. An accident on the freeway coming from Malibu when she was 14 shattered her right arm. Another contradiction: Padma is a beautiful woman who is scarred. She wasn’t fully embraced by the fashion world, however, until she was photographed partially nude by Helmut Newton, who saw beauty in her imperfection. Her first runway show, for Ralph Lauren, “was Stephanie Seymour in front of me and Christy Turlington behind me,” she remembers. In 1992, Padma was spending a semester in Spain when she was discovered in a Madrid bar by a fashion agent. (A retired Pfizer executive, he had no relationship with his daughter until recently.) Padma joined her mother two years later on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where they lived until 1983, when Vijaya took a job in Los Angeles.
